Giant Kelpfish : Heterosticbus
rostratus
24 in long. Feed on small
crustaceans, mollusks, and fish. Occasionally caught by anglers
but seldom retained, they are probably more familiar to scuba dives.
there are four other species of Kelpfish in our seas belonging to
the genus Gibbonsia. They are difficult to identify to
a species. |
